FIVE FILMS WITH EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTRODUCTIONS FROM NICK CAVE

Nick Cave has selected five films to be screened at Duke Of York’s Picturehouse in Brighton on 1st and 2nd August, for a weekend takeover of his favourite cinema. This special event will feature five films which have inspired and defined Cave’s songwriting, each with a recorded introduction by Cave himself. The takeover follows his homecoming performance with The Bad Seeds at Preston Park on 31st July.

Audiences can watch all five films on the big screen across the weekend – The films are; Disney’s 1940 animated feature Pinocchio, Ted Kotcheff’s classic neo-western Wake In Fright, Gaspar Noé’s controversial, brutal thriller Irréversible, Jonathan Glazer’s atmospheric sci-fi feature Under The Skin and The Gospel According to St Matthew, Pasolini’s stunning telling of the life of Christ.
