Nick and Warren wrote the original music for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, a 2007 American Western drama. Directed by Andrew Dominik, the film stars Brad Pitt as Jesse James and Casey Affleck as his killer, Robert Ford. It was released in September 2007. Nick has a minor part near the end of the film, playing a strolling balladeer in a crowded bar, where, unrecognized by the other patrons, Bob Ford must endure the humiliating lyrics of “The Ballad of Jesse James”.
